as is the case with so many endeavors, this one is going to work best if we aren't flat broke the whole time. i certainly don't ever pay myself for all the hours i spend doing things like building this website, working on layout, writing, editing, photoshopping, emailing, and just generally fighting to make a good thing work. and i certainly don't ever pay contributors for all the hard work they put in writing, reading my verbose emails, photographing themselves, to their own dismay and my delight, and just generally fighting to make a good thing work. that is all partially because we all enjoy the work we're doing, and partially because we simply don't have any money.

here are all the things i spend money on to keep theCorporal afloat: web hosting, internet advertising, printing (fliers and such), equipment, software. yes, unfortunately these things are not free. i pay happily, because i seem to have rather fallen in love with this project. but if you want to help me, i might just fall in love with you, too.
